Are They not Terrorists?

Dr. Habib Siddiqui in his article ‘The last crisis in Arakan’ that published in the October 16th issue of Asian Tribune writes that, “The situation inside the Rohingya villages in north-western Arakan state of Myanmar, bordering Bangladesh, is dire. Another genocidal campaign has been launched by the government. As we have seen before with the previous military regimes, the new government of Aung San Suu Kyi has its version of justification for its heavy handed treatment of the minority Muslims.”
Executive Summary
The constitution guarantees every citizen “the right to freely profess and practice religion subject to public order, morality or health and to the other provisions of this Constitution.” The government adopted a package of four laws that many local and international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) said were an infringement on religious freedom and other basic rights. The new laws, known collectively as the “race and religious protection” laws, included registration requirements for interfaith marriage and religious conversion, as well as mandatory population control measures in zones the government may specially designate.

ဗမာစစ္ေထာက္လွမ္းေရးမ်ားသည္ သူတို႔အာဏာတည္ျမဲဖို႔ ႏုိင္ငံေရးအက်ပ္အတည္းကထြက္ေပါက္ရဖို႔ တုိင္းရင္းသားအခ်င္းခ်င္းၾကား စည္းလံုးညီညြတ္မႈျပိဳကြဲေအာင္လုပ္ေလ့ရွိၾကသည္။ လူမ်ိဳးေရးဘာသာေရးအဓိကရုဏ္းမ်ားဖန္တီးျပီး ကယ္တင္ရွင္၀င္လုပ္တတ္ၾကသည္။ ထိုဗ်ဴဟာကို ေတာ္လွန္ေရးအဖြဲ႔အစည္းမ်ားကိုျဖဳိခြဲဖို႔အတြက္လည္း အသံုးခ်ေလ့ရွိၾကသည္။ ဟုိတုန္းက KNU ေခါင္းေဆာင္ေတြ ဗမာစစ္ဗိုလ္မ်ား၏ပရိယာယ္ကိုနားမလည္လို႔ KNU နဲ႔ DKBA ဆိုျပီးႏွစ္ဖြဲ႔ကြဲခဲ့ရသည္။ DKBAထဲကတစ္ခါ ဗိုလ္ခ်စ္သူလို အခြင့္အေရးသမားေတြက ဗမာစစ္ေခြးဘ၀နဲ႔ မိခင္ KNU ကိုျပန္တိုက္ေနၾကတာ ၀မ္းနည္းစရာေတြ႔ျမင္ေနရသည္။
