Please don’t make a fist when I extend my hand to shake hands…
Former President Obama, “we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.”

I heard about the experience of one Myanmar Doctor who had worked in UK that the drs used to open the doors of the consultation room and shake hands with the patients. I used to open my door to call the pts with a smile on my face. One Sunday morning I was working at our clinic branch in Jl Ampang which is a diplomatic area. I opened the door with a smile and call a diplomat. While I extended my hands to him, he ignored me and questioned me, ” Anything funny with my face?” I just replied to him with a stun face,”This is our custom to greet our pts with a smile.” I tried to made a friendly smile during the rest of consultation and just told him to wait outside and collect the medicine and letting him open the door himself.
Zidane and France went on to play against defending champions and favourites Brazil at the Stade de France in the 1998 FIFA World Cup Final. France dominated Brazil from the kick-off, with Zidane scoring two similar goals, both headers from corner kicks taken by Emmanuel Petit and Youri Djorkaeff. Courtesy of Zidane’s two goals, France went into the half-time break 2-0 up with one hand already on the World Cup trophy. Petit added a third goal deep in stoppage time to seal the 3–0 win and France’s first ever World Cup. Zidane became an instant national hero, and over one million people celebrated the victory on the Champs-Élysées where a huge image of Zidane was projected on the Arc de Triomphe along with the words “Merci Zizou” (Wikipedia)…….Zidane’s longtime neighbour, a French, who always ignored him shook hand with him after that match only.
