First two pictures are from his book “Burma in Revolt”, pages 65 and 317 (thanks, Lee Yu Kyung, for calling my attention on this passage). Let’s also note that he doesn’t rely in new research carried out in the intervening years (by, say, Michael Charney or Jacques Leider), in both cases his main source seems to be Moshe Yegar’s book “The Muslims of Burma: A Study of a Minority Group”, published in 1972.

Tragically she died shortly after she returned.
