Three ex-military officers are reportedly involved in the assassination of NLD Muslim lawyer U Ko Ni.

One, former colonel who was a Commander-in-Chief Min Aung Hlaing’s security officer, has escaped arrest.

And Home Affairs Minister Lt-General Kyaw Swe, who reports to his boss Commander in Chief, explained to the Burmese press that it was a murder committed by extremists patriotic youth.
